Can cockroaches live in your body?
Invasion of body parts: Cockroaches can not only invade your home but also your body parts. There are several cases of cockroaches entering the ear and nose while sleeping. Small cockroaches can readily enter body orifices if you're in deep sleep.
In 2018, a cockroach crawled inside a sleeping man's ear and laid an egg sac. Luckily, roaches don't go out of their way to do this, so it doesn't happen very often. But there are a bunch of other unsavory bugs that will lay eggs all over your body — on purpose.
It's a complete maze. Located in the temporal bone, it contains the vestibule, the semicircular canals, and other parts of your head you weren't expecting to have guests in. If the cockroach gets past this, then it could travel through the auditory nerve to the brain.
After a bit of investigating, the doctor found only three other cases of insects being found within the colon of a human body. These insects were small flying insects that could be easily swallowed. However, a cockroach had never been found within a human colon before.
Many microscopic bugs and bacteria live on our skin and within our various nooks and crannies. Almost anywhere on (or even within) the human body can be home to these enterprising bugs. Bugs affect us in a variety of ways: some bad, such as infections, but many good.
For best results, combine equal parts borax and white table sugar. Dust the mixture any place you've seen roach activity. When the roaches consume the borax, it will dehydrate them and kill them rapidly.
Hair contains lipids and sebum, which can sustain cockroaches for a short while. They're far more likely to eat shed hair rather than hair off your head under the cover of darkness as it's less risky. Also, cockroaches don't live in or lay their eggs in hair. Cockroaches won't walk through your hair while you're awake.

Thankfully for most people accidentally swallowing a cockroach will not have any major negative impact. Your digestive system does a great job of breaking down matter and filtering out any bacteria, so you won't even notice anything different.
Citrus. You may love the smell of fresh citrus, but cockroaches hate the scent. That means you can use citrus scented cleaners in your kitchen and bathroom to chase any lingering roaches away. You can also keep a few citrus peels around your home in strategic places.
Does killing a roach attract more?
Do dead cockroaches attract more cockroaches? Yes, they absolutely do! A dead cockroach releases oleic acid when they die. This has a pungent smell which intern attracts other cockroaches.
Some cockroach species are also attracted to light, and there could be light or brightness behind you or around you that's causing the cockroach to glide toward you.
Parasites include bed bugs, lice (head, body and pubic), mites such as chiggers and bird mites, ticks and fleas. True spider bites are quite rare and are commonly misdiagnosed by physicians. The only arthropod capable of burrowing into the skin is the scabies mite. These are easily diagnosed by dermatologists.
Cockroach eggs look like small tan, brown or black capsules shaped something like a pill or a purse. German and American cockroach eggs are approximately 1/3-inch (8 mm) long, while those of the Oriental and SmokyBrown cockroaches are slightly longer, reaching lengths of almost ½ inch (12 mm).
Since cockroaches eat just about anything, you could find an ootheca anywhere - from your kitchen cabinets, pantry, or bathroom sinks to pipes, woodpiles, or your garbage. Some species will even lay eggs by furniture legs, baseboards, or in your dresser drawers.
