How large is considered fat?
If your BMI is 18.5 to <25, it falls within the healthy weight range. If your BMI is 25.0 to <30, it falls within the overweight range. If your BMI is 30.0 or higher, it falls within the obesity range.
In general if you're a woman, you want a measurement that's less than 34.5 inches. If you're a man, a number below 40 inches is ideal. A measurement that's higher than those isn't a death sentence, but it has been strongly linked with a higher risk of several serious diseases including type 2 diabetes.
21-24% is considered fit. 25-31% is considered acceptable. 32% or more is considered obese.
It varies a lot for children, depending on age. In general, wo/men tend to start looking kind of chubby when they pass up 140 lbs., and really chubby by 150 lbs. After all, at 155 they are overweight. For teens it is lower, maybe 130 to 135 starts to appear chubby.

Small Fat — Wears a size 1x-2x or an 18 and lower. Small fats can find clothes that fit at the mainstream brands and can shop in most stores. Apparently, they just have to buy larger sizes. Medium Fat — Wears a size 2x -3x or a 20 to a 24.
How quickly will you lose weight? The volunteers reduced their waist sizes by an average of 1 inch for every 4lb (1.81kg) they lost. So if you lose 1lb (0.45kg) a week you could hope to reduce your waistline by an inch after four weeks.
You can estimate your abdominal fat by measuring the circumference around your waist with a tape measure. Measures of above 40 inches (102 cm) in men and 35 inches (88 cm) in women are known as abdominal obesity (2).
Your waistline may be telling you that you have a higher risk of developing obesity-related conditions if you are1: A man whose waist circumference is more than 40 inches. A non-pregnant woman whose waist circumference is more than 35 inches.
A woman's health is at risk if her waist circumference is 32 inches or more. A measurement of 35 or more puts you at high risk for a heart attack or stroke. People with a high level of abdominal fat have a much higher chance of developing cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes.
How do you know if you are fat?
A BMI number is designed to give you an idea of how much body fat you have as a ratio of your weight to height. It's measured by taking your weight in kilograms and dividing it by your height in meters squared. A reading at or over 30 means you're obese. A reading at or over 40 is severe obesity.
The government recommends that: men should not eat more than 30g of saturated fat a day. women should not eat more than 20g of saturated fat a day.
